Is weather becoming more extreme?
As we all know Global Warming is affecting our home we call earth in a way that doesen't appear good. Global Warming is causing the ice- bergs in the North to melt, depleting our fresh water source, and worse of all the weather is increasing it's horrible disasters. More of the sun's rays are hitting our planet as the ozone layer that protects us continues to thin, thus causing the flow of energy to change, which is making the weather more extreme, it is a vicious cycle.

The warmer tempertures are causing water to evaporate. A warmer atmosphere means that more water will fall on the earth. There has been a major increase in precipitation over land, floods have been increasing more often since the late 1960's, places such as North and South America, North Europe, and Northern and Central Asia are greatly effected.
Since Global Warming of our earth is causing the climate to get warmer, which is noticably sensitive, this causes Tropical storms and Hurricanes. Warming of the planet affects the ocean, which make these storms and hurricanes more frequent and severe, and as the temperature goes up, often the activity of these disasters, are more likely to develop.

Today, our weather appears to have more extreme events then around 100 years ago. Which isn't good news. The more we pollute the worst it gets. People are becoming more informed about their impact on the Earth and are making small but forward steps to change by buying reusable bags, (customers must pay for plasic bags), energy efficient light bulbs, greenworks cleaning supplys, greenworks paper towels & toliet paper etc.. Even though it has been a law to litter our human race is still inconsiderate to the earth. We must start making larger changes and steps to try and reverse and stop the damage we are inflicting on our precious planet
